Description
Austin Rawlins, NP, is a family nurse practitioner who earned his bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Georgia before completing his Master of Science in Nursing at Augusta University. He later earned his Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Augusta University and is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Austin provides care for patients across the lifespan, from newborns to older adults, with a focus on preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute illnesses. He treats conditions including hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, urinary tract infections, upper respiratory infections, and skin conditions. He also has a special interest in HIV and STD prevention and education, with his doctoral project focusing on improving education and prevention efforts among high-risk and vulnerable populations. In his free time, Austin enjoys staying active at the gym, watching the latest movies and TV series, spoiling his dog, taking beach vacations, spending summer days on the lake, and exploring the outdoors.
